Description

This is the next volume in the series of this first ever assembled retrospective of 1944 gun camera footage. There are some amazing movies in this volume. Two that always draw me in are the segment of the downed target aircraft.
"Great video. Thanks for helping preserve history. A++ recommended."

"A unique and invaluable resource! Great production."

"...this is the best collection of gun camera footage I have ever seen. - Computer Pilot Magazine
where a crew member can be clearly seen diving from behind the vertical stabilizer as the fighter comes in to strafe. Another stunning section is of a P-47 or P-51 fighter as it comes in so low on a strafing run that it plows through the telephone and electrical wires. The wires can be clearly seen. Gun Camera Action Europe Volume 2 is full of action packed gun camera sequences. This is a chronological anthology to all the gun camera footage of that time that I have located. You can certainly feel the guns blazing as the fighters came in for attack and you get a great sense of what they faced. This volume also contains the first sequence of gun camera footage in color. The color films adds a distinctively new element that makes you feel even more like you are back in the cockpit.
